  • Responsibilities

  • Responsibilities • Assist the Partner in the creation of images depicting proposals for Surreal Studios • Able to create digital paintings in 3D programs/Photoshop, from conceptual depictions to showing the amount of detail a design holds • Able to use hand sketches and utilise 3D information to create digital imagery • Responsible for rendering drawings in 3D programs and/or Photoshop by taking hand drawn visuals from line drawing through to a completed coloured presentation standard • Participate in a small team responsible for the final presentation images for the company's competitions and projects • Responsible for the maintenance and documentation of illustration standards such as working methods, animation libraries and archiving of final images • To contribute, or otherwise assist as qualities and skills required • Able to demonstrate ability to undertake the above responsibilities • An advanced proficiency in 3D rendering applications and Adobe Photoshop • A three dimensional and spatial understanding of buildings including shadow and light • A good understanding of scale and compositional techniques relating to the virtual environment • Be familiar with methods of image production and printing processes • Able to manage and prioritise tasks and time efficiently • A flexible and open attitude towards new ways of working and commitment to independent, life long learning • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines efficiently • Excellent organisational skills • Able to manage sensitive and sometimes confidential information • Self motivated and able to take responsibility • Able to demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach to daily tasks • Good interpersonal skills and able to work independently and as part of an effective team • Flexible attitude • Able to build good relationships at all levels, internally and externally • Resilient to cope with conflicting demands, able to prioritise duties and work effectively under pressure • Due to the nature of the position and the requirement to meet deadlines there will be a requirement to work additional hours as necessary Desirable • Knowledge of 3D Studiomax, InDesign, Sketchup and Illustrator or equivalent would be desirable

Digital Media Maintain and constantly update website, blog, analytics as well as partake in social media trends Market Research Maintain up-to-date information on market and demographics Preparing and printing of business cards, letter heads and complimentary slips. Any other duties assigned by the management. Qualifications Minimum degree or diploma in graphic design Previous internship in graphic design will be an added advantage Currently enrolled in any of the following programs Business, Marketing, Business Management, Communication/PR, Entrepreneurship or Graphic Design/Fine Arts.     Preparation and pricing of Bills of Quantities, specifications, schedules of materials, labour and services
    Preparation of final / pre-tender estimates
    Drawing up construction contract documents
    The candidate must have the following skills and qualifications:-
    Enrolled in Minimum Higher National Diploma in Building Economics or A Degree in Building Economics or Quantity Surveying from a recognized institution
    Must be computer literate and have proficiency in quantity surveying software such as MS Project, WINQS.
    Must possess excellent communication skills
    Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.
    Must be capable of working on projects with very tight deadlines
    Must be flexible to varying working hours
    A mature individual with high level of discretion and unquestionable integrity
